RL lignin fiber is an organic fiber obtained by grinding and chemical treatment of natural high-purity wood pulp. Extracted from wood pulp, it is produced by alkaline leaching, neutralization, bleaching and rolling processes to completely separate lignin and hemicellulose from wood pulp. It is widely used in SMA pavements. As an essential component of SMA mixtures, lignin fiber functions in oil absorption, reinforcement and stabilization, improving the high-temperature stability of the mixture to a certain extent.

RL lignin fiber is available in two types: granular RL-G and flocculent RL-F.
